And Just Like That! – ‘Sex And The City’ Is Back With A Reboot

“They say nothing lasts forever; dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style.” – Carrie

And just like that, the girls have reunited for a reboot of SATC! It was 6 June 1998 when four fabulous women revolutionized the way women were seen or projected on television. They talked about love, sex, marriage, friendship, relationships, emotions, and of course fashion, loud and clear. Based on the book by Candace Bushell, the show and the four women, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, and Samantha became an integral part of us and their lives, a Bible for every young girl out there.      SEX AND THE CITY

Sarah Jessica Parker aka Carrie Bradshaw from the famous Sex And The City posted a photo on her Instagram account on Saturday capturing her reunion with co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon for the upcoming HBO Max Sex And The City revival, titled And Just Like That… Parker captioned the photo, “Together again”, read through our first new episodes alongside all the fellas and our newest cast members. Like an ice cream sundae. X, SJ ”

The popular show is all set to make a comeback with the original cast, the leads Parker, Davis, and Nixon will be reprising their signature roles as Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda, respectively. Except Kim Cattrall, who played the role of Samantha Jones will not return to reprise her role.        SEX AND THE CITY

The show will take off from where it left, which means Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte will resume their journeys and continue to explore life together in their 50s. As per the official statement, the trio will “navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.”

On Friday morning, Sarah Jessica Parker also shared a photo from the first official table read of And Just Like That… “1st Table Read. Got here way too early. Nerves all a wonderful jumble,” the actor wrote.

The original series aired between 1998 to 2004. The show is still making waves even after 20 years. The new reboot series will feature 10 episodes of half an hour each.  The reboot is surely going to make up for the lost time and as they say, SATC fans are fierce and they are not going anywhere!
