Veteran actress-turned-politician, Jaya Bachchan does not share a great rapport with the paparazzi. She has a strict exterior when it comes to obliging for pictures. Time and again, her encounters with paps have hit headlines. In a recent turn of events, Jaya blew up shutterbugs and questioned which media organizations they belong to. Later, when one of them lost their balance while clicking the pictures of the actress, she said something which stunned everyone. A video of the same is going viral on social media.
It so happened that the 74-year-old actress reached the venue of Lakme Fashion Week with her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. The two were walking through their way when photographers started taking their pictures. One of them suddenly tumbled. To this, Jaya, who is not a fan of posing for cameras said, “Serves you well. I hope you double and fall.”
She was later seen questioning, “Aap log koun hain? Aap log media se hain? Kaunsi media se hai?”After they named some of the paparazzi teams, Jaya asked, “What? Who? Kaunsa akhbaar hai ye?” Navya was seen calming her down.
Well, this is not the first time something like this has happened. Not a long time ago, she shouted at son Abhishek’s fans when they were trying to click selfies with him. At her daughter Shweta Bachchan’s birthday bash, she looked in angry way at photographers when they tried to click her pictures. In 2014, she was heard telling paps, “Yeh koi jagah hai photo lene ki (Is this a place to click a picture).”
On the work front, Jaya Bachchan will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra.
