During a recent interview, the filmmaker said that he is a friend of both the brothers and knows that Anil is unhappy about not being a part of the sequel to the 2005 superhit comedy. Bazmee said, ‘I have worked a lot with Anil ji. Anil ji was very involved with No Entry, not just as an actor, but as a character.’

However, the filmmaker said that he chose to stay away from talking to the brothers and trying to calm down the situation. In Anees’ words, ‘As far as I know, both the brothers have a lot of love for each other. The resentment between them can last for a few days. I think both of them will sort it out and talk to each other, there is no need for me to talk to them. They don’t need anyone else.’
