Taking to his Instagram handle on September 11, 2023, Harshvardhan Kapoor penned a note about the rat race of following the trend and buying fake replicas of branded shoes. The actor in his long note, called out those who opt for fake sneakers in a consideration that people won’t recognize it. The actor asked them to purchase the shoes which fell under their budget instead of buying fake copies. Harshvardhan further mentioned the significance of purchasing sneakers from trustworthy sellers. His note can be read as:

“Don’t know who needs to hear this but pls stop wearing fake sneakers.. if you have a low/moderate budget there’s plenty of great options out there. If someone gets you a gift and they happen to be inauthentic u can pass them to someone else that doesn’t know what they are and would be happy to wear .. but if you’re buying your own please do your due diligence .. buy from trusted sellers ..”

Not just this, the actor also wrote another note asking the boys to invest in their appearances. The actor mentioned that one should buy things within their budget as there is no need to wear expensive stuff if one can’t afford it. The actor said that instead of focusing on expensive brands, one should pay attention to one’s personality which speaks volumes. He reflected on the prominence of learning new styles and fashions.
