Anita Hassanandani Recalls Her Depression Days, Saying, “Ekta Kapoor Helped Me”- Deets Inside

Famous television actress Anita Hassanandani recently revealed that she is suffering from depression. The actress revealed that she was battling depression during her initial days in the television industry. Sharing a post on Instagram, the actress told about this. She told that she was affected by her failures during the beginning of her career and during this time producer Ekta Kapoor helped her.

Sharing her selfie with Ekta and Rohit on Monday, Anita wrote, ‘It’s not often when you find someone who means a lot to you. You feel more appreciated and excited to have them around you. Today, I want to thank two such individuals for always supporting me, Rohit Reddy and Ekta Kapoor. I would like to say something to him, ‘If it were not for you, I would not have been at this place today at all.’ She further wrote, Unity! You are a prototype for every strong female character you create. You are a true friend and an incredibly strong-willed woman. Friendship of so many years has turned into a relationship where we can do anything for each other without any question.” She further writes that “I remember the days when I was young, hungry for work but ignorant of everything. I was very impressed by my initial failures, but then you came into my life. You not only helped me fight depression but also gave me a fresh start. It’s one of the millions of things I’ve learned from you, never give up. Ekta is a part of my family and she is my destiny.”

Anita rose to fame in the early 2000s after her performance in Ekta Kapoor’s serial Kabhi Soutan Kabhi Saheli. After this Anita Hassanandani appeared in the TV show Kuch To Hai. This serial was also produced by Ekta. After this, his performance in Star Plus’s famous show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was highly appreciated by the people. Apart from this, he also acted in Naagin-3.

Aneeta shared this post on the same day Ekta Kapoor was honored with the Padma Shri award. On Monday, President Ram Nath Kovind honored filmmaker Ekta Kapoor with the fourth highest civilian honour. Apart from this, Adnan Sami, Ekta Kapoor, and Karan Johar have also been given this award. At the same time, singer SP Balasubramaniam was posthumously awarded the Padma Vibhushan award.
