During the podcast, Annu Kapoor recalled an incident that took place at a club event in Goa several years ago. As per the actor, he was invited to host a stage conversation with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, but the interaction didn’t go as expected. Initially impressed by Nawazuddin’s academic background, particularly his Master’s degree in Chemistry, Kapoor said he expected a meaningful conversation. However, he claimed the actor gave very little to work with during the interaction.

Annu Kapoor said, “He wasn’t giving much of an answer, so I thought I’d lighten the mood by asking about his love life”. When asked about his relationships, Nawaz reportedly responded with, “Many have come and gone.” Kapoor said he found the response disappointing and shallow. “The way he said it made me feel like he was a frivolous person. What do you mean by ‘many have come and gone’? That’s a very cheap comment,” he said.

Later in the podcast, the conversation shifted toward actress Tamannaah Bhatia, where Kapoor’s remarks quickly drew backlash online. When host Shubhankar Mishra joked that “children fall asleep listening to her songs,” Kapoor responded with a comment that many called inappropriate and objectifying. “Aha, MashaAllah, what a milky body she has,” he said, going on to make a series of suggestive remarks tied to the idea of children sleeping, concluding, *“If our children sleep soundly and healthily thanks to her songs or her milky face and body, that’s great for the country.”
