In times when Bollywood is struggling with attracting audiences to theatres and producing hit films, veteran actor Anupam Kher has three biggest blockbusters of 2022- The Kashmir Files, Karthikeya 2, and now Uunchai to his credit. Kher is certainly having the best time of his career. And he doesn’t want to stop at all.  After giving some of the most stellar performances of this year in, Anupam now wishes to star in an action film.

In the latest interaction with the media, the 67-year-old actor was asked about one genre that he would like to explore. To this, he flexed his muscles and asked him about it. The host quickly replied that he could John Abraham a tough competition. Anupam, who is known for speaking his heart out responded by saying, “But we expect that from John. With all due respect to him, usse mere jitna lamba dialogue bulwa lo na.”

When Anupam realized that his statement is sounding inappropriate, he covered it up by stating that John can do it but sometimes we fix an actor to a certain image and it is important to break the mould. “And you can expect great action from John, he has such a wonderful body, but I think he can also act very well. He does,” he continued.

Well, this is not the first time that Anupam Kher has talked about giving young actors a run for their money. Recently, he claimed that Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan are his real competition and not his contemporaries.

For the unversed, Anupam Kher’s recent outing Uunchai has opened to positive reviews. It is also minting a good amount of money because of its gripping storyline. He will next appear in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency.
