Recently the chairman of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Chairman SN Subramanian asked his employees to work for 90 hours a week and suggested other organizations as well to make their employees sit and work citing the reason that what they will be staring at their wives’s face for hours. Talking about working hours SN Subramanian had recently questioned the need to stay at home and said that he would have been happier if his employees worked on Sundays as well. After this, Subramanian also asked, ‘How long can you stare at your wife while staying at home?’ After receiving criticism for Subramanian’s comment, L&T issued a statement and responded to the criticism the chairman received for his comments. However, Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone also refuted his statements and shared a screenshot of it on Instagram, writing in the caption, ‘And these people have made it even worse.’
