‘Apologising To Absolutely F**king Nobody’: Justin Timberlake Throws Shade At Britney Spears

Before performing his popular song “Cry Me a River,” JT made it quite evident that he leads an unapologetic life.

Justin Timberlake made quite the statement on stage before he sang his hit single “Cry Me a River.”. During JT’s “One Night Only” concert in New York City on Wednesday, Justin declared that he was apologizing to nobody.

The unapologetic Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake reportedly said, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f**king nobody.” Many of her admirers saw this as a jab at her since Britney Spears recently released public apology about her novel, ‘The Woman in Me’.

Fans of Britney are offended and angry at the ‘Mirrors’ singer. Various hashtags, such as #canceljustintimberlake and #justiceforbritney are trending on X (formally known as Twitter).

Britney Apologized for Book

Taking to Instagram, Britney wrote on Monday, “I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about, I am deeply sorry.”

Not only did she apologize for her book, but Britney even shouted out Justin’s new music, saying that she was “in love” with it.

“I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song, ‘Selfish.’ It is so good. ‘Sanctified’ is wow too,” Britney wrote in her caption. Shortly after posting her statement, Britney switched her Instagram account to private.

The ‘Selfish’ Fiasco

Britney’s apology came after Justin Timberlake released his new song ‘Selfish’ on January 25. Following Timberlake’s release, Spears’s fan accounts banded together to purchase Britney’s song with the same name to propel it up the charts. The 13-year-old song ‘selfish’ returned to the top of the iTunes list the following day.
