Archana Puran Singh Revealed She Lost Many Bollywood Films Because of Being A Part of ‘Kapil Sharma Show’

The veteran actress has resumed work with ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. Also, she is making a comeback to films after almost four years. She will be seen in the film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ alongside Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri.

Recently, she mentioned that she had to take such a long break due to the demanding schedule of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. She said that she is also getting film offers, one of them from producer Vashu Bhagnani.The actress shared that it was because of her commitment to the comedy show that she turned down many projects in the industry.

Now, when the show is streaming on the OTT platform, it is a relief for her, as she is exploring her work again and is happy to be a part of ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. During the conversation, the actress shared and said, “When we were on television, we did not get any breaks. We enjoyed doing episodes again and again and we got to practice a lot. The whole team was always excited, but I had to turn down many film offers. Now I am happy that I have time to accept films.’

Archana also said during this time that most of the films were shot abroad and even if they were in Mumbai, she had to refuse because Kapil’s show was shot two or three times a week. At the same time, the actress said that she has no regrets about turning down films since she is earning really well by working with the ‘Kapil Sharma Show’.
