The actor passed away on 18 August 2025 at the age of 91 and took his last breath at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, Mumbai. But he died on August 18, and now it is being said that his last rites will also be performed in Thane on August 19. Less than a year after his marriage, he joined the army through the emergency department and retired in 1967 with the rank of Captain. Let us tell you that Achyuta Potdar worked as an executive in Indian Oil for 25 years. And then retired in 1992 at the age of 58. While working in Indian Oil, the actor participated in theatre projects, plays and cultural activities, so that he could hone his passion for acting. Then in 1980, he debuted with the film ‘Aakrosh’.
