Arjun Mathur, who portrays Karan Mehra in the famous series ‘Made in Heaven,’ underwent a major metamorphosis for the show’s second season.
Arjun received his training from professional fitness trainer Samir Jaura. He said: “It is really surprising to experience how far your character can take you. The physical aspect of it very much helps you get into the mental space of your required role.”
“I had a transformative experience while turning into Karan Mehra under the expert guidance of Samir Jaura, who is also one of my oldest and closest friends in this city. He knows just how hard he needs to push, for you to achieve a goal.”
Samir Jaura is noted for altering actors like Farhan Akhtar, Shahid Kapoor, and Kartik Aaryan, as well as training Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, and others for specific projects. Arjun Mathur, on the other hand, has a jam-packed year ahead of him, with many releases.
The actor is set to appear in ‘Made in Heaven S2’, ‘Gone Game 2’, and Anshuman Jha’s ‘Lord Curzon Ki Haveli’ with Rasika Dugal, following his appearance in Lionsgate’s ‘Jugaadistan.’
Made in Heaven follows two wedding planners as they deal with the turmoil that surrounds big-fat Indian weddings as well as the chaos in their personal life. Shobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shashank Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Neel Madhav, Vijay Raaz, and others are among the key characters in the show. It was created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti and produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment.
The cast and crew of the series commemorated three years after the launch of Made In Heaven in March 2022. Co-creator Zoya Akhtar marked the occasion by saying, “I can’t believe it has been 3 years since the release of Made In Heaven. I am so proud to have created a show that has left an impact on so many.”
