Renowned Bollywood singer Armaan Malik has big dreams for 2025, including lending his voice to Shah Rukh Khan and collaborating with fellow musical powerhouse Arijit Singh. The singer, known for his soulful vocals, shared his aspirations during a recent interview with News18, where he also reflected on his journey and discussed the evolution of Bollywood music.
“I really want to play in Madison Square Garden in New York and be the voice for Shah Rukh sir,” said Armaan, adding that a duet with Arijit Singh would be a dream collaboration. “It will be an amazing partnership! Agar yeh sab 2025 mein ho jaaye toh nothing like it,” he expressed with enthusiasm.
Armaan also opened up about the emotional highs and lows of 2024. The year saw him sharing the stage with global sensation Ed Sheeran while also grappling with the personal loss of his pet dog, Handsome. Despite these challenges, the singer remains optimistic about 2025, hoping to embrace new opportunities with an open heart.
Kicking off the year on a high note, Armaan is set to perform at Seagram’s Royal Stag Boombox, an experiential music festival blending hip-hop, Bollywood, and melody. Having been associated with the festival for the past three years, he highlighted its unique energy and the excitement of merging diverse genres on one stage.
This year’s lineup includes hip-hop artists like Raftaar and Ikka, while Armaan represents Bollywood and melody alongside Neeti Mohan, Nikhita Gandhi, and Amit Trivedi. “The combination of hip-hop and Bollywood live on stage is electrifying,” he shared, adding that such events showcase the dynamic evolution of Indian music.
Reflecting on Bollywood’s musical journey, Armaan pointed to films like Gully Boy for their strong hip-hop influence. “Mainstream Bollywood music is limitless. Look at Gully Boy! It had so much of hip-hop,” he said.

Looking ahead, he hopes for greater incorporation of genres like house and Afro beats in Bollywood. “These fresh sounds are reshaping Bollywood’s soundscape and proving how Indian music is evolving,” he noted.
