‘Arshad Sahab Should Have Chosen His Words Better’ Nag Ashwin Reacts To Arshad Warsi’s Prabhas Was A Joker In ‘Kalki 2989 AD’ Comment
Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi recently made a comment on Nag Ashwin’s directorial film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. During this, he said that Prabhas looked like a cartoon in this film, after which a controversy arose in the entertainment industry. In this matter, Arshad has been trolled by Prabhas’ fans, as well as the stars of the South Industry also reprimanded him. This controversy is not stopping now, it is no longer Prabhas vs Arshad but has become South vs Bollywood.
Arshad Warsi
After Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi’s joker comment, Natural Star Nani, who came in support of Pan India star Prabhas, was also trolled fiercely by the audience, after which he withdrew his statement. This whole matter has given rise to the North vs South debate on social media, in which trolls and abusive tweets are being made continuously from both sides. At the same time, now the director of the film Nag Ashwin has finally broken his silence on this. Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin has now responded to the controversy in a sensible and impressive manner.
Nag Ashwin’s Comment
He wrote in his social media post, ‘Let’s not go back, no more North-South or Bollywood vs Tolly, we have our eyes on the bigger picture, united Indian film industry, Arshad Sahab should have chosen his words better but that’s okay, sending Bujji toys for his kids, I will work hard, so tweet Prabhas be the best ever in Kalki 2.’ Nag Ashwin’s response is very dignified, he did not speak ill of Bollywood nor did he jump into the controversy. The director did not badmouth Arshad Warsi for the remake. Instead, Nag Ashwin said that he would send toys to the kids of Hindi actors, which is a very sweet thing on his part.
Prabhas
A fan told the director that the audience of the North is spreading too much venom, to which Nag Ashwin replied, ‘There is already too much hate in the world brother, we can try not to increase it further, I know Prabhas will feel the same.’ While discussing ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ in a podcast, Arshad had said why Prabhas was like a joker in the film. After this, a controversy arose on social media. Director Ajay Bhupathi and many stars like Sudheer Babu, Nani, and Dil Raju also criticized him for his comment. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone were also seen with Prabhas in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.
