The recent controversy surrounding the son of Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan is attracting eyeballs. It is making headlines with new developments each day. Aryan Khan’s arrest in alleged possession and consumption of illegal drugs through a raid by an anti-drugs agency, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has made SRK’s life difficult. His bail plea also got rejected multiple times till now.
Now, the latest report has claimed that jail superintendent Nitin Waychal said on Thursday they received the money order of Rs. 4,500 from Aryan Khan’s family on October 11. This money is meant for his expenses in the jail canteen which offers Bread, Namkeen, Bhel, Pandyachi Batli, Vada Pav, Bhajia Pav, Samosa, Chicken Thali, Egg Thali, Mineral Water, Juice. As per the rules, a prisoner can receive a money order of a maximum of Rs. 4500 for their expenses inside the jail.
Aryan Khan was arrested with five others from the cruise ship by NCB. All accused were lodged at the quarantine barrack of the Arthur Road jail for seven days. Their quarantine period got ended on Wednesday. Now, all of them have been shifted to the common cells of Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail in central Mumbai after their Covid-19 report came negative on Thursday.
News agency PTI cited a jail official as saying, “All of them were subjected to RT-PCR tests for coronavirus disease on Wednesday morning and as the results were negative, they were separated from each other and shifted to various general barracks.” The accused were shifted to the Arthur Road prison after their initial custodial remand with the NCB was over.
What Happened During The Hearing Of Aryan Khan On October 14?
The hearing on the bail plea of Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan resumed in the sessions court on Thursday noon. As the day came to an end, the special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) court judge VV Patil reserved an order on the bail of Aryan and other accused in the matter, saying it is busy with other matters and will now hear the pleas on October 20.
Aryan Khan, who was arrested on October 3 will have to remain in jail for at least six more days. The leader of NCB Sameer Wankhede busted an alleged drugs party on the cruise ship which was on its way to Goa on October 2. Around 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested so far in the case.
