Asim Riaz Reveals The Reason Behind Turning Down Bigg Boss 14: “It Leaves An Impact On Head And…”
Asim Riaz was the first runner-up of the most popular season of Bigg Boss, Bigg Boss 13. He was always in talks because of his fights with the winner Sidharth Shukla and also for his closeness with Himanshi Khurana. When Bigg Boss 14 kickstarted, three former Bigg Boss contestants entered this season including Sidharth Shukla from season 13, Gauahar Khan from season 7, and Hina Khan from season 11. But within a week or two, there were reports that makers are trying to bring previous season’s contestants which included Asim Riaz, Himanshi Khurana, and Rashami Desai. Instead of the previous season’s contestants, makers brought some former contestants like Vikas Gupta, Manu Punjabi, Arshi Khan, Rakhi Sawant, and Rahul Mahajan in the house as the challengers.
There were reports that Asim Riaz was approached for the show, but due to some reason, he declined the offer. Now, in a recent interview, Asim opened up about the same and said he had just recovered and didn’t want to go back. However, he adds, if makers give him a chance he will go now. He told Bollywood Bubble, “Yes, I was offered. But the thing is that I have to spend 140 days in the house. It was a long time. For me, at that time I just recovered and it leaves an impact on your head that you just remember something and it’s like ‘I don’t want to go back’.”
He further added, “This is not the right time for me to go. I thought I have just recovered and doing good in my life. If I get a chance I will go. But at that time when I was offered, I wasn’t ready to be very honest.”
