Bollywood actress, Athiya Shetty married her beau KL Rahul (ace cricketer) in a lavish ceremony on January 23, 2023. It was Athiya’s wedding lehenga that left her fans’ hearts racing.

Indian cricketer Kannanur Lokesh Rahul and actress Athiya Shetty tied the knot on January 23, 2023. The couple’s wedding took place at Suniel Shetty’s bungalow in Khandala. Their pheras happened in the presence of their family and close relatives. The newlyweds, KL Rahul and Athiya looked gorgeous together in their respective royal attires.

Athiya Shetty’s bridal look 

The bride, Athiya Shetty opted for a pink-hued lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna. The actress refrained herself from opting a traditional red lehenga for her wedding. Athiya looked a perfect bride in her wedding trousseau as the actress followed the trend of wearing pastel hues. She wore a matching full-sleeved blouse along with the lehenga on her D-Day. She complemented her look with embellished jewellery, including a stone work neckpiece, matching earrings and maang teeka. Opting for a tied hair bun, she decided for a dewy makeup look as well.

Athiya Shetty’s bridal lehenga took approx 10,000 hours to make 

Athiya Shetty looked pleasant and exquisite in her wedding attire. Designer Anamika Khanna left no stone unturned to curate an alluring outfit for the actress. Her silk lehenga was handmade, handwoven which included zardozi and jaali work. Actress’s veil and dupatta were made up of silk organza. As per the reports, it took approximately 10,000 hours to complete the lehenga. The designer artists spend around 416 days to create this fine work on the lehenga.

Actress Athiya Shetty chose for customized dainty kaleeras 

The talk is never completed without mentioning the most regal symbol of the wedding, i.e kaleeras. Commonly, brides decide to go for multi-layered gold kaleeras. Athiya chose for the dainty colored ones. Her kaleeras featured tiny sun and star trinkets. She complemented her heavily-embroidered chikankari lehenga with matching kaleeras. The groom, KL Rahul looked stunning in a light embroidered Sherwani, designed by Anamika Khanna.
