Ayesha Shroff Defends Tiger Shroff Over Temple Visit Criticism

Tiger Shroff’s recent visit to Mumbai’s Babulnath Temple sparked online controversy, but his mother Ayesha Shroff wasn’t having any of it. After the release of Baaghi 4, Tiger was seen visiting the temple to seek blessings, a moment captured by paparazzi. However, a social media user accused him of using the religious outing as a publicity stunt, calling it a “show-off.”

The Instagram user criticized Tiger for allegedly calling paparazzi to the temple and mocked his outfit for revealing his chest and physique. He further claimed that Tiger showed more attitude than devotion during the visit, implying the entire act was staged for media attention.

Ayesha Shroff didn’t hold back. Reacting directly to the post, she clapped back in the comments section, writing, “Attitude toh you are throwing! You don’t know my son so shut up!” Her sharp response quickly caught attention online, with many supporting her defense of her son.

Tiger, the son of Ayesha and veteran actor Jackie Shroff, made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Heropanti. Since then, he’s earned a name for himself as an action hero, particularly with films like Baaghi, Baaghi 2, and War 2. He also starred in Student of the Year 2.

His latest film, Baaghi 4, directed by A Harsha, has performed well commercially, crossing ₹50 crore in its first week. The film features Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and marks the acting debut of former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the action-packed movie received mixed reviews. While some praised the action sequences, others criticized its excessive violence, drawing comparisons to Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.
