Ayodhya Ram Mandir

B Praak expressed his views on the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, a significant religious site in India. On January 22, 2024, the long-standing disputed temple was finally inaugurated. Today, January 26, Singer B Praak is doing a special concert. Ahead of the concert, he spoke with India Today, where his comments on the topic showed his respect for the religious sentiments of the people and his understanding of the site’s historical significance.

“I feel fortunate to have observed this event. Despite receiving an invitation, those who could not attend the Pran Pratishtha ceremony did so of their own will. But everyone should come here and pay a visit.”

Reason for Not Singing Devotional Songs in Concerts

When asked why he doesn’t sing devotional songs even if he shares them regularly on social media, he says

“When I need serenity in my life, I sing devotionals. However, I do not perform devotional music during my concerts because people drink alcohol, which is not suitable. I encourage musicians not to sing religious tunes during concerts.

Those who create reels of devotional music in temples should understand God’s grace. Unfortunately, they fail to see it.”

Impact on Career

B Praak’s decision not to sing devotional songs in concerts has allowed him to balance his personal beliefs and professional career. This has enabled him to explore various musical styles and connect with a broad range of fans, ultimately contributing to his success as a singer. His comments on Ayodhya Ram Mandir demonstrate his respect for religious sentiments and his understanding of the site’s historical significance.
