Babita gave back-to-back super hit films like ‘Ek Shriman Ek Shrimati’, ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, ‘Farz’, ‘Banphool’ and ‘Ek Haseena Do Deewane’, ‘Tumse Accha Kaun Hai’ and ‘Kismat’. When Babita’s career was at its peak, she decided to get married and made up her mind to say goodbye to the acting world.

How Babita met Randhir?

Babita and Randhir’s love story started on the film set. They met during the shooting of the film ‘Sangam’ in the year 1969. They developed a liking for each other soon and gradually, love blossomed between them. After the release of Randhir’s debut film ‘Kal Aaj Aur Kal’, the duo decided to take seven rounds on November 6, 1971. After marrying Randhir, the actress bid adieu to films. She appeared in a total of 19 films in her career. Babita soon became mother to Karisma and Kareena both of whom achieved success in the Hindi film industry and brought laurels to the Kapoor family.
