Baby John Star Keerthy Suresh Clicked From ‘Objectionable Angle’, Paps Irked After Being Stopped

Keerthy Suresh, who recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Antony Thattil and made her Hindi cinema debut with Baby John, found herself at the centre of an unusual incident involving a paparazzo in Mumbai. The actress, who attended the premiere of her film on Thursday evening, was caught in a heated exchange between her team and a photographer.

Dressed in a saree for the event, Keerthy was surrounded by paparazzi as she prepared to get into her car after the premiere. It was at this moment that her team took issue with the way one of the photographers was capturing her. They believed the angle from which the picture was being taken was inappropriate.

In a video posted by the paparazzo on Instagram, the scene unfolded as Keerthy got into her car. The photographer called out to her while snapping pictures, and soon after, a woman from Keerthy’s team intervened, questioning the photographer’s actions. “Aise kyu le rahe ho? She is getting in, no? Aise ajeeb kaise le rahe ho? Kyu car ke andar le rahe no, mat lo naa,” she said, expressing concern over the angle and nature of the photos being taken.

Keerthy, visibly surprised by the situation, checked to ensure her outfit was in place and raised her hand in an attempt to stop the interaction. However, the paparazzo seemed to take offense, responding sharply, “Aise aap baat mar karo, pehli baar aaye ho kya?” (Don’t talk to me like that, are you new here?).

The paparazzo later took to Instagram to clarify that the entire incident was a misunderstanding, asserting that there was no ill intent behind the photos. Despite the brief tension, the matter was quickly settled.

Keerthy Suresh, who has had a successful year with notable roles in Tamil films such as Siren and Raghu Thatha, also voiced a droid in the much-anticipated Kalki 2898 AD in Telugu. She made her Hindi debut with Baby John, a remake of the Tamil film Theri, starring Varun Dhawan. Looking ahead, Keerthy will appear in the Tamil films Revolver Rita and Kannivedi, further cementing her growing presence in Indian cinema.
