The two announced their pregnancy during the pandemic and said that they would be welcoming the baby in January. And now, they’ve finally shared the good news. Anushka Sharma gave birth to a baby girl today in the afternoon and daddy Virat Kohli has shared the good news.

Virat Kohli took to his Twitter handle to announce the arrival of their baby girl. He wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”

A few days ago, Astrologer Pandit Jagannath Guruji has shared that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will become parents to a baby girl. Speaking to India.com, he had said, “Both Anushka and Virat are among the most sought after and followed celebrities in India, and it only obvious for people to get excited about the arrival of a new member in the family. According to astrological calculations and face reading of the power couple, they are most likely to be blessed with a baby girl, who would be a princess to her father and a darling to her mother. With two extremely talented people as her parents, the little one is also expected to be full of virtues.”

In an interview with Vogue, Anushka said how she only ate toast and crackers during her first trimester. “I was eating only toast and crackers for the first three months. So, when it ended, I wanted to eat vada pao and bhel puri, but that didn’t last long either. So, no real cravings,” she shared.
