Actress Avika Gor, who became a household name in the TV serial Balika Vadhu, is soon going to be seen in films. Avika, who has played the role of daughter-in-law in many TV serials till now, is going to debut in Bollywood, for which she has chosen a very bold topic.

Avika Gor has previously worked in Telugu and Kannada films and now she is also going to debut in Bollywood with the film Kahani Rubberband Ki which is a comedy-drama film. The story of Kahaani Rubberband Ki revolves around a shopkeeper who sells condoms under the name Rubberband. In the guise of a masala entertainer, it promises to educate the audience.

Along with Avika Gor, her Sasural Simar Ka co-star Manish Raisinghan is also making her debut with this film. Apart from these, the film also stars ‘Scam 1992’ star Pratik Gandhi and comedian Gaurav Gera along with Aruna Irani and Pental. Talking about the film, director Sarika Sanjot said, “I am very excited to bring this story to the audience. The film deals with such an important topic that will make the whole idea of ​​condoms acceptable in Indian society.”

She further added, “Unfortunately as a society what we need the most, is considered taboo. The motive behind making this film is to make condoms a household name. I want the youth to go to the medical store. And be comfortable asking for condoms. There’s nothing to be ashamed of, in fact, it’s the most responsible thing!
