Bappi Lahiri’s Gold Collection To Be Displayed In Museum, Says Son

Bappi Lahiri passed away last month. He was suffering from obstructive sleep apnea. Apart from his hit songs, the disco king was also famous for his gold collection. Bappi Lahiri believed that gold was lucky for him that’s why he always wore it. Bappi Da’s son Bappa Lahiri revealed his plans for the gold collection of his father in an interview.

Bappa Lahiri in an interview told that his father Bappi Da used to see and wear gold associating it with a religious point of view. He didn’t wear it as a style statement but for his luck. He believed that gold was lucky for him and that’s why he always carried that. You will be amazed to know that if he had to catch a flight even at five in the morning, he used to wear all his gold and leave.

When Bappa Lahiri was asked what will happen to Bappi Da’s gold collection now, he said that he will preserve this gold collection of his father and it will be displayed in the museum for people. Bappa told that Bappi Da did not have a great collection of gold only, but he also had an excellent collection of shoes, sunglasses, watches and caps. Bappi Da loved his belongings very much.

With the photo posted on Instagram, a caption was written that the legacy lasts forever. In the monochrome photo of Bappi Da shared on his official account, only his gold ring and jewellery were highlighted.

Bappi Lahiri died on 16 February 2022 at the age of 69 due to obstructive sleep. Bappi Da gave multiple superhits to Bollywood, which people still like to listen to. Bappi Da is no longer among us, but his songs will remain in the hearts of people forever.
