Ankita Lokhande’s spouse, Vicky Jain, sobbed as she was being sent home from Bigg Boss 17. The actress also told her mother-in-law that she was sorry for hurting her.

Ankita Lokhande, ranked fourth, was eliminated from Bigg Boss 17. The actress garnered a lot of love and frequently made headlines during her career. The way she interacted with her mother-in-law, Ranjana Jain, and even her former boyfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput, made her the talk of the town. Ankita even expressed regret to her saasu maa in an effort to make amends.

Salman Khan forced Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s mother to take vows for each other in the show’s finale before revealing who would win. As Ankita took her vows, she apologised to her saasu maa for her altercations with Vicky on the show and vowed to shower her husband with affection and do her best to please his mother. She went on to say that Vicky’s mother hadn’t lived with them and hadn’t realised that many of their arguments were just friendly disagreements. She declared: “Shayad aap humare saath kabhi rahe nahi hain…”

After Ankita was evicted, the remaining finalists on the show were Munawar Faruqui, Abhishek Kumar, and Mannara Chopra. Ankita was inconsolable as she watched the finalists perform and sing inside the BB house. Everyone was surprised by the actress’s eviction, particularly Vicky Jain, her husband. Salman Khan expressed shock at Ankita Lokhande’s eviction

Salman Khan, meanwhile, revealed that he believed Ankita Lokhande would win the show and expressed his surprise at her eviction. He informed Ankita that everyone on the team was taken aback and perplexed as to why she had been kicked out. Salman continued, saying: 

“I am shocked. I thought you would become the winner. I am shocked that you are not. I don’t know what has happened that you have come out of the house. The whole team is shocked. Last year, I thought Priyanka (Chahar Chaudhury) would win and this year, I had the feeling that Ankita would win. Aur jitne bhi Bigg Boss seasons huye hai; I think this [Ankita’s journey] must have been the toughest journey of all time.”

Ankita responded to Salman’s statement by saying that she had no idea what to say. However, the actress later stated that she was fine because her mother was standing next to her and her family was supporting her. Later, Ankita revealed to Salman: “Mujhe laga tha mujhe badi problem hogi agar main jaldi nikal jaati hoon.”
