Shahid Kapoor’s First Meet with Wife, Mira Rajput

Shahid Kapoor mentioned about his first encounter with Mira Rajput in an old interview with Filmfare. The two met at a family friend’s residence in Delhi and belong to the same religion. Shahid discussed his initial encounter with Mira and how he immediately fell in love with her.

Shahid Kapoor disclosed that it was the moment when both he and Mira went outside for a walk that he realized his love for her. As a result, he desired to marry her. In his words:

“I’m still falling in love with her….a bit more every day. The first time we met, we spoke for seven hours. We were at a friends’ farmhouse in Delhi. We went for a walk outside and the sun was setting behind her. I realised her eyes  were not dark. They had a hazel tinge. That moment, I felt shayad main iss ladki se shaadi kar sakta hoon. But I also told myself, “What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai besharam!”
