Bhumi expressed her views on the pay gap, saying that even though she may have 100-200 crores in her bank account, her income will not be comparable to that of her male coworkers. According to the actress, the situation won’t change if just women speak out; something else must be done from all angles. Huma Qureshi and Rakul Preet Singh reacted on her statement.

Bhumi Pednekar also discussed how Hollywood, in the west, also had a salary gap. But their leading men stood up for them.Although there was inequality here as well, males fought for women. They stated that they would either reduce their pay or maintain their compensation “Bhumi added that although she doesn’t require someone to defend her, the matter has not received any acknowledgement to date, according to Indian Express.
