Bhumi Pednekar Said About Her Friends From The LGBT Community, “I Have Felt Their Loneliness & Pain”

Recently, in the film Badhaai Do, Bhumi has been successful in portraying the pain and problems of the people of the LGBT community in the character of a lesbian.

In an exclusive conversation with Jagran.com, Bhumi Pednekar spoke openly about the film Badhaai Do and people belonging to the LGBT community. Bhumi says that I started in Bollywood with a different character, I have always done such characters which are not conventional, so I did not even think about this film whether people would accept me or not. But this film has managed to keep a very serious issue on-screen with a laugh.

Bhumi, while speaking on the question related to the LGBT community, says that I have many queer friends who have been my friends since childhood and I have been an important part of their life, so I know how much pain they have suffered because they’re There was a lot of loneliness in his life, many things used to break his heart, so I had a very personal attachment to this subject. I always wanted that those friends of mine should also get the same respect and recognition that they deserve people belonging to the LGBT community should not get the tag because of their sexuality because it is very painful.
