Big Boss 11 Contestant Bandgi Kalra Lands In Legal Trouble, DETAILS INSIDE!

Bandgi Kalra gained popularity for her stint in Big Boss Season 11. She was in the news for her relationship with fellow contestant Puneesh Sharma inside the house. The lady has now been charged for reportedly cheating a Banglore-based engineering student by sharing a fake ad of iPhone X on her Instagram handle. The student, Yuvaraj Singh Yadav, has filed a complaint against Bandgi and two Delhi based companies Different Collection and

According to Yuvaraj, Kalra had posted a fake advertisement on her Instagram account which offered two brand new iPhone X for Rs 61,000. The victim was quick to book the deal for Rs 61000 as it was way cheaper than the original price of over Rs 83,000. However, the post was deleted by the accused soon after. As per the agreement,  Yadav paid an advance of Rs 13,000 through PayTM and the rest was to be paid during the delivery.

When he saw the Instagram post deleted on Kalra’s account, he became suspicious but the seller assured him that the product will be delivered to him via courier company Blue Dart. On Wednesday, Yuvraj went to a Blue Dart courier centre to receive the phone and paid remaining Rs 48000. But when he opened the parcel, he found two fake iPhones inside it. When he tried to contact the actress and the firms, there was no response from them.

Upon realising that he has been duped, he then filed a complaint with Marathahalli police. “We have sent an email to Kalra and have summoned her. Though we are not sure of her exact involvement in the incident, she has promoted the product on her Instagram account. Though she has deleted the post, the victim has submitted the screenshot,” Police was quoted as saying.

“We have also found that it is not a fake account. So, a special team is going to Delhi to question Kalra and the staff of Different Collection and Yadav has also shared the account details and phone numbers of the accused. Further investigations are on.”, he added.

Inspector also revealed that Bandgi Kalra has been given three days to appear before the police, failing which a team will be sent to arrest her.

Speaking to a leading agency, Yuvaraj Singh Yadav, a second-year engineering student, said, “I have been cheated. Upon the arrival of the package, I tried to contact them (firms and actress). There was no response. Then, when I told them that I have filed a police complaint, they asked me to withdraw the case and threatened to file a counter-complaint against me for blackmailing them. The actress, however, has not responded to my messages. I have borrowed money from many people to buy the phones.”
