In a recent episode, Tanya accidentally shared that her father is involved in the real estate business. During a casual chat with co-contestants Mridul Tiwari and Gaurav Khanna, she claimed to manage four to five businesses. However, when asked for specifics such as company names, turnover, or net worth, Tanya refused to reveal any details on camera. When Mridul pointed out that most successful entrepreneurs showcase their work on Instagram, Tanya confidently replied that “big businessmen don’t need to display their businesses on social media.”

She explained that her social media accounts are dedicated to saris, spirituality, and temples, not her factories or ventures. The conversation quickly went viral, especially when Tanya interrupted Mridul by saying, “Small people share everything on Instagram. Big people don’t.” This remark triggered mixed reactions online. One user commented, “How much will you throw, sister?” while another joked, “Don’t throw it, we’re tired of reeling it in.”

Adding more intrigue, Tanya revealed that her father, who is also not on social media, sells 500 to 1,000 flats a year. When Gaurav asked if her father was a builder, she dodged the question. Interestingly, some Instagram posts have previously claimed that her father is Delhi-based real estate developer Ravi Mittal, raising speculation about whether Tanya indirectly confirmed the rumor. In another heart-to-heart conversation with contestant Nehal, Tanya opened up about her personal struggles and shared that some family members were murdered in the past, leaving her deeply traumatized.
