Popular singer Guru Randhawa has sparked speculation about a potential rift with music label T-Series. The artist recently hinted at an ongoing copyright dispute with the label, revealing that the issue, which has been brewing for over a year, will soon be addressed publicly. While Guru chose to stay silent on the matter until now, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a glimpse of the challenges he’s facing.
The speculation began when an X user shared a post claiming that T-Series was attempting to prevent Guru from working independently or with other music labels. The post was accompanied by a screenshot stating that a video was blocked due to a copyright claim from T-Series Music. Guru responded to the tweet, acknowledging the issue and assuring his followers that it would be resolved soon. “Big people face big problems. The issue will get resolved in few days and we will come back stronger than ever,” he said.

Guru went on to further explain that he rarely speaks about such matters, but felt it was time to inform his fans about the situation. “This year will be full of music and movies. Just gearing up. I hardly speak about all these issues but ya it’s time to address and let you all know what’s happening at the backend from past 1.5 years. But yes, hopefully, it will get resolved and things will be sorted in a nicer way,” he added. Guru ended the post on a positive note, encouraging fans to spread love and remain hopeful, stating, “God is the greatest.”
As soon as Guru shared his thoughts, fans flooded social media with messages of support, offering words of encouragement and expressing solidarity with the singer. Many praised Guru for addressing the issue, with one user writing, “Stay strong and confidential as you always do! We’re here for you to support you through thick and thin!” Another comment read, “Finally someone has the guts to stand against the mafia industry.”
Guru’s career has been marked by several chart-topping hits such as “Patola,” “High Rated Gabru,” “Suit Suit,” and “Ban Jaa Tu Meri Rani.” He continues to be a prominent figure in the music industry with his recent releases like “Punjabiyan Di Dhee” and “Tera Saath Ho.”
Last year, Guru was reportedly involved in a legal dispute when Vikram Shapribhan Singh, known as Vee, filed a lawsuit against Guru, T-Series, and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. for copyright infringement. The case alleged that T-Series used the complainant’s sound recordings without permission.
