Bigg Boss 16: Devoleena Bhattacharjee Criticises Sajid Khan’s Participation In Reality Show

Sajid Khan’s presence in Bigg Boss 16 has drawn criticism from Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who even indicated that she would stop watching the programme altogether. Devoleena Bhattacharjee is the most recent celebrity to express her outrage and unhappiness with Salman Khan’s reality series Bigg Boss for offering filmmaker Sajid Khan a platform, who has been accused of harassing women sexually.

Sajid’s participation was kept under wraps, and ever since he appeared on the show’s premiere, many folks, including a slew of celebrities, have expressed their displeasure. “Simple enough – nine women accused Sajid Khan,” Devoleena stated in an interview with Aaj Tak about the situation.

She added, “Not every one of these is lying. Tell me, will someone set up a camera and then abuse them? Women tend not to complain about these situations for this reason. Even the parents are worried that society would expose the victim as a liar. His efforts to establish himself as a hero on public television wring my heart. When I consider where our society is going, I feel horrible.”

She noted that despite the filmmaker’s claim that he appeared on the show to reflect, it does not appear that he is doing so. She claimed that instead of declaring, he was heard saying “mai to in sab ka baap hu.”

The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actor continued by saying that it is up to the audience to determine whether or not the director means everything he says. His actions proves that a liar is always a liar no matter what you do. Now, it seems like you can try anything to win Bigg Boss. Ethics are irrelevant since they may easily be disregarded if you are privileged. Personally, I find it tedious to watch him on the show. If my blood boils enough, I will stop watching Bigg Boss .”

Recently on an episode of Bigg Boss 16  he said, “Yesh sab TV serials k actors hai, tu samaj. Aur TV ke actors na, eh log basically, inko lagta hai yeh humari duniya hai. Mai baap hu yeh sab chhez ka.” Devoleena further re-tweeted a video of Sajid making the statements. Watch the video here
