Karan Veer Mehra, fresh off his victory in Bigg Boss 18, has shared his thoughts on his former co-contestant Vivian Dsena, with whom he had a turbulent relationship throughout the reality show. While their initial friendship evolved into a more complicated dynamic, Karan recently opened up about their bond in an interview with Siddharth Kannan.

When asked whether he thought Vivian was arrogant about his professional success, Karan didn’t hold back. “Vivian is anyway arrogant. I don’t know about what, but he is. He has an air about himself, which is in him,” Karan remarked. He explained that Vivian’s attitude was simply part of his personality, suggesting that even if he wasn’t in the entertainment industry, he would still carry himself in a similar manner. “There’s nothing wrong in it,” Karan added.

The conversation took a more personal turn when Karan reflected on his own feelings during the show. He admitted to feeling a sense of jealousy towards Vivian. “I was coming from a jealous space. You’re the favorite, you’ve been announced as top 2. You got things easily,” he said. Karan acknowledged that while both of them faced ups and downs in their personal lives, Vivian seemed to be in a better position. This sense of comparison contributed to the growing distance between them.

Karan further revealed that he had hoped Vivian would respond differently when he confided in him about his jealousy. “I thought Vivian, being the bigger person, would say ‘No yaar, you’ve done a lot too,’” Karan explained, adding that such a response would have helped foster camaraderie between them. However, the situation took a turn when Vivian chose to align with fellow contestant Avinash Mishra, with whom Karan had clashed, widening the gap between the two.

Karan also spoke candidly about Vivian’s behavior during the show, criticizing his immature actions, such as calling out a co-contestant for her toilet habits. “That is one thing that kept distancing me from him,” Karan said, noting that it was childish and uncalled for.

On a lighter note, Karan was asked about not being invited to Vivian’s post-show celebration. He jokingly responded, “He has FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) that I didn’t come to the party. There are many people who want to invite me, and if I don’t show up, there will be a lot of FOMO.”

Karan also addressed reports of Vivian unfollowing him on social media, expressing that such matters didn’t concern him. “I’m focused on my work,” he said, reaffirming that he was more interested in his career than in online interactions.

Finally, when asked about Vivian’s wife Nouran Aly, Karan said he had no strong opinion on her, having only met her once. He did, however, appreciate her support for her husband during the show.
