Bigg Boss 19: Tanya Mittal Brings 800 Sarees To House; ‘Not Abandoning My Opulent Lifestyle’

Tanya Mittal, the spiritual influencer and entrepreneur from Bigg Boss 19, has made it clear that she isn’t leaving her lavish lifestyle behind for the reality show. In a recent episode, Tanya revealed that she brought a staggering 800 sarees with her, along with her personal jewelry and accessories.

Tanya said she plans to change outfits multiple times a day and has selected three sarees for each day she is in the house. This dedication to luxury has quickly become her trademark, with fans and fellow contestants alike taking notice.

A Commanding Presence

From her first day, Tanya has made her presence known in the house. When another contestant, Kunickaa Sadanand, tried to ban the use of the term “ma’am,” Tanya quickly objected, stating, “Call me ma’am, because people anyway call me boss.”

She shared that even her family refers to her by that title and that she has a deep appreciation for the respect it conveys. She believes that women shouldn’t have to wait until they are older to earn respect, and that it’s something they should demand early in their careers.

A Controversial Claim

Tanya has also made headlines for her controversial claims. She recounted a harrowing experience at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh stampede, claiming her bodyguards single-handedly saved 100 people, including police officers. She said this heroic act is what led to her being cast on the show.

She also revealed that having security is a long-standing family tradition and that she is “looking forward to receiving a threat” so she can get even more protection. The stampede she referenced occurred in January 2024 and resulted in more than 80 deaths.
