BIRTHDAY GIRL RHEA CHAKRABORTY: An Inside Look On Career And Life That Was Torn Apart

Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was and is still a media attention because of her association with the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, is celebrating silently her 29th birthday today, July 1, 2021. Starting a career as VJ on MTV India in 2009, making an acting debut in the Telugu movie “Tuneega Tuneega” and graduating in Bollywood from 2013, Rhea’s career graph was of a constant rise before a steep fall after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. In  Bollywood she made her debut alongside actor Saqib Saleem in Mere Dad Ki Maruti, and moved to star in several films, including Sonali Cable, Dobaara: See Your Evil, Half Girlfriend and Jalebi. Though the actress tried to leave a mark in the industry with her performances, however, more than that she made headlines for her relationship with the late Sushant Singh Rajput especially after his sudden demise, the reasons still unknown.

Rhea Chakraborty was said to be in a live-in relationship with the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput from 2019, who was also establishing himself in the Bollywood Film Industry. But almost a week before the actor’s death, she moved out for reasons that are still known to her only. Following Sushant Singh’s death, the actress was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau over allegations of supplying marijuana to the late SSR. After spending few days in jail, the actress was given bail on the grounds that “she is not likely to commit any offence while on bail.”

After having experienced interrogation not only from the police but more than that of a character assassination she faced through the mainstream Indian media, Rhea has stayed low profiled and quite inactive on social media. So far, she has dropped posts regarding her mother, father and few cryptic posts regarding her legal battle and life at large. On Rhea’s birthday, it would be humane to relook on how an actress, and more importantly a human being was and is trying to overcome a personal loss and facing arrogant media and media followers.

Just a few days ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput’s first death anniversary, Rhea posted a cryptic post on suffering. Taking to her Instagram handle, she wrote, “From great sufferings, come great strength! You’ll just have to trust me on this one…Hang in there…Love Rhea” Quoting Rabindranath Tagore’s Gitanjali, Rhea wrote on Instagram handle “oh, where ?” melt into tears of a thousand streams and deluge the world with the flood of the assurance, “I AM!”. This post was dedicated to all her fans to keep faith in her. Its high time for media and followers to understand the life of others with a minimum level of humanity. Remembering the late Sushant Singh wishing Rhea Chakraborty a Happy Birthday!
