BJP Leader Comments On Shah Rukh Khan’s Dua For Lata Mangeshkar; Says, ‘Is He Spitting On Lata Mangeshkar’s Grave?’

While paying his respects at the state-sponsored burial of iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar in Mumbai on Sunday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan paid dua and recited a prayer. Having finished, he blew into the wind, dropping his mask briefly.

The video of Shah Rukh Khan giving a dua at the burial of Lata Mangeshkar has gone viral. Many netizens assumed that the actor spat on Lata didi’s mortal remains while blowing the air to fend off the evil after concluding the dua, a typical ritual in Islam.

However, if you look closely at the video, you’ll notice that the celebrity is blowing air instead of spitting to fend off the evil spirit. Many people speculate if Shah Rukh Khan spat on Lata Mangeshkar, but many also show video clips of him performing the same dua for Kajol and his children in the movie My Name is Khan.

Many people praise Shah Rukh Khan and hail him as a model of secularism in India. There has never been anyone like Shah Rukh Khan, and there will never be.

BJP Leaders Draw Flak for Falsely Claiming SRK ‘Spit’ at Lata Mangeshkar’s Funeral

BJP leaders have come under fire for falsely claiming SRK’spit’ during Lata Mangeshkar’s funeral. Two BJP politicians and numerous other right-wing social media users appeared unaware of the habit of blowing into the wind after offering dua, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Even though this is a common and well-documented Islamic ritual, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and supporters decided to make it look like Khan was “spitting” on Mangeshkar on social media.

Arun Yadav, the state in charge of the BJP in Haryana, was one of the first to make this claim, tweeting, “Kya isne thuka hai (Did he spit)?” alongside a video clip. Yadav’s tweet was still viewable to the public at publishing, despite being debunked several times. So yet, no other BJP politician has stepped up to defend Khan or condemn Yadav for his inaccurate and offensive remark.

Another BJP politician, Prashant Umrao, the party’s Uttar Pradesh spokesperson, made the same accusation. Other right-wing Hindu social media users joined in, and the video of Khan blowing after offering dua went viral.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) said, “The BJP would go to any length to communalize Shah Rukh Khan delivering prayers at Lata Mangeshkar’s final rights.” Haryana BJP official seeks to communalize Shah Rukh Khan providing prayers during Lata Mangeshkar’s last rights
