Sanya Malhotra’s recently released film ‘Mrs’ which shows the difficulties of married women in the kitchen has sparked a debate about housewives in Indian homes. While some fans are praising the film and calling it a perfect showcase of what an arranged marriage looks like, others have also called it a version of Indian marriages. Now Panga queen of Bollywood aka Kangana Ranaut has shared several posts taking a dig at the film without naming it.

Let us tell you that Kangana’s post has created a sharp reaction among some netizens on social media because of which she is once again under fire for her statement. Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram Stories to criticize how Bollywood films have ruined the concept of marriage and created a wrong narrative of marriage among the audience. However, the ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ actress refrained from naming ‘Mrs’ in her post.

The actress said, ‘Growing up I never saw a woman who didn’t dictate to her house, order everyone when to eat, when to sleep and when to go out, ask her husband about every penny and he would obey her, the only fights were, going out with her boys and drinking with friends often, whenever papa wanted to eat out with us she would scold us all because cooking for us was her pleasure, this way she also looked after the hygiene of food.’

Apart from this, Kangana Ranaut also called the women of Indian homes queens, who have a say in all matters of the house. She said, ‘The women of the house grandmother, mother, and aunt are our queens and we expect to be like them, of course, there can be such cases of women but let’s stop generalizing Indian families and demonizing the elderly, also stop comparing the women of the house to bonded laborers and stop associating the joy of making a home and raising children with forced labor.’
