Bollywood Messiah To The Rescue!

The pandemic times have been hard on everyone, be it the elites or the underprivileged. People of the country expected the government to reach out to them with solutions. When the government failed to come to people’s aid a lot of citizens including some celebrities started working on ground level to help the citizens. One of the celebrities who was leading the battalion from the front was actor Sonu Sood.

During the first wave of the Covid 19 pandemic Sonu Sood arranged around 21 buses for approximately 750 migrant workers to send them home and he has been helping people ever since, be it medicines, arranging beds, and with whatever query people have been conveying him.

Recently the 47-year-old actor has vowed to set up around 18 oxygen plants across the country. “We have to eradicate the problems from the roots.” He stated.

The actor added, “These oxygen plants would be installed mostly in hospitals where the poor people are given free treatment. With these oxygen plants being installed we aim to ensure that not a single person in the country should die of the unavailability of a basic necessity like oxygen. Let’s all come together and give a hand to the needy in these striving times.”      Sonu Sood

He’s starting his initiative from Kurnool and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh and Mangalore in Karnataka. He will soon set up the other oxygen plants across states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and many others. These 18 oxygen plants will cater to almost 5,500 beds.

People have called him a messiah for the migrant laborers when he arranged the buses for them and surely he has lived up to the expectations of people who have approached him for any kind of help and we can say with people like Sonu Sood we are sure to fight this pandemic and eradicate it from our country.
