According to Karan Johar’s revelation, Alia Bhatt had shot for the film RARKPK just after four days of getting married with husband, Ranbir Kapoor. Mehendi artist claims that Alia Bhatt’s wedding mehendi was same as Rani’s Mehendi in RARKPK

In a recent press conference of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, film director Karan Johar pointed at a distinct similarity in Alia Bhatt’s mehendi. According to Karan Johar’s revelation, Alia’s mehendi in that film was very much quite similar to her wedding mehendi. For the unversed, Karan pointed out that the shooting of the film’s wedding scene happened just after four days of Alia’s wedding to Ranbir Kapoor. He even claimed that the mehendi which Alia had on her hands while shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani was the one which the actress had donned in her actual wedding. In Karan Johar’s words:

“Alia aur Ranbir ki shaadi hui thi aur chaar din baad we were shooting our sequence with Ranveer and Alia. So in that week, Alia Bhatt got married twice, one in real life and one in reel life. And the mehndi that Alia Bhatt’s character has in the scene is the same mehndi that she had in her wedding celebrations with Ranbir Kapoor. We just darkened it. And we shot that song ‘Kudmayi’ in Jaisalmer and Vaibhavi Merchant picturised it beautifully.”

And now recently a mehendi artist has cleared the ongoing confusion about the same. Bollywood’s expert mehendi artist, Veena Nagda took to her Instagram and cleared the ongoing air about the same.

Veena Nagda clears buzz surrounding Alia Bhatt’s off-screen and on-screen mehendi 

Ace mehendi artist, Veena Nagda posted a series of glimpses of Alia and Ranveer Singh from the movie, RARKPK. The mehendi artist captioned a note alongside the pictures, wherein she talked about the differences between Alia’s mehendi in the film and her actual wedding mehendi.

As viewers, one could easily spot that Alia Bhatt donned mehendi to her wrist in the movie’s scene. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt’s wrist was seen empty in her wedding reception picture. Thus, both the mehendis were not looking similar to each other.

Veena Nagda feels disappointed of not getting credit for Alia Bhatt mehendi in RARKPK

The mehendi artist further in the long note mentioned that she made significant changes in the design of Alia’s on-screen mehendi. Veena further stated that no credit was given to her for the modifications she made in Alia’s mehendi for the shoot. She even took a dig at Karan Johar’s unreliable remarks by stating that films work in altogether different manner.

Workwise, Alia Bhatt is enjoying the box office success of her latest release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani since it earned Rs. 200 crores. On the other hand, Ranbir is all set for his upcoming release, Animal.
