In an old video posted by Boney Kapoor on social media, the filmmaker is seen dressed as Shammi Kapoor and dancing to one of the actor’s songs.
In an old video posted by Boney Kapoor via online media, the movie producer should be visible dressed as Shammi Kapoor from Junglee moving away to the entertainer’s famous tune Mere Yaar Shabba Khair. The movie producer’s chance as an artist has procured him a great deal of appreciation from fans.
In the video, posted on Instagram Reels, Boney should be visible at a festival dressed as Shammi Kapoor’s personality from the entertainer’s 1961 film Junglee. The tune Mere Yaar Shabba Khair should be visible playing on an enormous screen with Boney and different visitors cutting to it. “My tribute to Shammi Kapoor, made an honest effort and was granted the nearest clone/dressed star of 60/70’s at the party and was given a prize,” Boney subtitled the post.
Boney’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor commented “Papa!!” followed by heart emojis. Fans showed their appreciation as well. “Keep enjoying your life fullest,” commented one. Another fan attributed to Boney’s upcoming acting gig in Luv Ranjan’s film and said, “Start acting now sir ji…. Already doing one film we know.”
Boney offers an old bond with the Kapoor family to which Shammi had a place. Boney’s dad filmmaker Surinder Kapoor was a cousin of Shammi’s dad Prithviraj Kapoor. Also, Surinder began his vocation in films as secretary to Shammi Kapoor’s first spouse Geeta Bali, who was herself a main entertainer of the 1950s.
