Jab bhi hum kisi ki shaadi pe jaate the toh sochte the ke hum Janhvi ki shaadi bhi aise karenge. Koi aisa hi ladka mil jaaye. Kabhi khayaal nahi aaya ke heroine banayenge. Badte badte badte ek din… Humko ek din laga doctor banegi, humko ek din laga kuch aur banegi. Suddenly, ek din aa ke maa ko bolti mere ko bhi acting karni hai.”

(English translation: She envisioned Janhvi and Khushi marrying. Whenever we went to a wedding, Sridevi and I would take inspiration from it and imagine how we would get Janhvi married. She wanted Janhvi to find a wonderful boy. We never thought she would become a heroine. One day, we felt she wanted to become a doctor. Another day, we thought she would become something else. Suddenly, one day, she came and told us, Mom, I  also want to do acting.”)
