#Boycott Atrangi Re Trends On Twitter: Deets Inside!!!
Recently, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s film 83 was boycotted on Twitter. Now, the audience want to boycott Atrangi Re.
People have been posting #boycott Atrangi Re on Twitter since Tuesday morning. People claim that Hindu faith is being attacked through this film and love jihad is being promoted. According to the people, film showcases Hindus as cruel. Moreover, they claim that Hindu religion has been ridiculed in the movie.
A user on Twitter also stated that Bollywood films are mainly made to target Hindus. Moreover, the user told that Hindus need to take a bold step to avoid such things. The same user also tagged the ministry of information and broadcasting and wrote that a law should be passed to take action on such Bollywood films.
Another user shared a video scene from the film in which Sara was seen saying, “Hanuman ji ka prasad thore hein jo kisi ko bhi mil jayege. Shiv ji ka dhatura hain muh se jayege to pichwade se niklege. ” Sharing this video, the user raised the question upon usage of rude words for Hindu gods and goddesses.
People asserted that society is being brainwashed through such scenes. The film shows Hindu man as the evil and serious atrocities being committed on Muslims in India. It’s claimed that in many instances of the film highly derogatory language was used against religion and gods. It’s asserted that “Bollywood has become a hub of jihadis and ‘love jihad’ is celebrated in the industry”.
Atrangi Re was released on December 24, 2021, starring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. The film stars Sara (Rinku Suryavanshi) from the Thakur family, who lives with her maternal grandmother and maternal uncle after losing her parents as a child.
Rinku runs away with her lover “Sajjad Ali Khan” (Akshay Kumar) 21 times in 24 years but each time family catches her and finally forces Sara to marry “Vishu” (Dhanush) from Delhi. In Bihar, such a marriage is called Pakarua Vyah. Throughout the film, the makers have shown Sara being in love with Sajjad.
