Burglars Target Squid Game Star Lee Byung Hun’s LA Home, No Damage Reported

Last week, burglars reportedly ransacked Squid Game actor Lee Byung Hun’s Los Angeles home. However, his agency, BH Entertainment, provided an update, assuring that no damage had occurred.

Burglary at Lee Byung Hun’s home

Soompi quoted the agency, stating, “It is true that there was a break-in at Lee Byung Hun’s home in the United States, but it has been confirmed that there was no damage.”

Recent reports surfaced online about a burglary at Lee Byung Hun’s house in Los Angeles, United States. According to law enforcement officials, the robber broke the sliding glass door to enter the house, which belongs to the Squid Game actor. Reportedly, Byung Hun was not at home during the incident.

TMZ reported, “One of Lee’s staff members stopped by his Los Angeles area home last week to find the place ransacked. We’re told the thieves smashed a sliding glass door to get inside the house.”

 

Lena Waithe’s house burglary

The incident occurred weeks after Master Of None actor Lena Waithe experienced a burglary at her house. TMZ reported that the actor lost $200,000 worth of jewelry after burglars entered her West Hollywood mansion through a window. Lena Waithe, who was 39 years old at the time, was also away from home when the break-in occurred.

In the case of Lee Byung Hun, he is anticipated to return to Los Angeles soon. According to reports, the police will be able to confirm if anything has been stolen once he is back to identify his belongings in the house.

In 2019, Lee Byung Hun and his wife, Lee Min Jung, purchased their Los Angeles home, situated reportedly near Universal Studios, a renowned tourist attraction. The house is described as fitting for a family of five or six, and it is estimated to have cost them around $2 million.

Having made his Hollywood debut in 2009 with the film “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” Lee Byung Hun is widely recognized as the lead actor in the hit series Squid Game.
