In this celeb-obsessed nation, everyone is curious to know what’s happening in their favourite star’s lives. We often get a sneak-peek into their lives all thanks to social media. And with social media, comes trolling which our favourite celebrities become prey of every now and then. And Malaika Arora has become a favourite of trollers. Time and again she is trolled for her dressing sense or yoga poses or the fact she is dating a younger man. And she has been trolled once again for dressing indecently in an outing with her son. On June 14, 2019, Malaika Arora was snapped with her son, Arhaan making their way out of Pali Village Cafe, Bandra, Mumbai, by the shutterbugs. The actress chose to wear a long white outfit with a plunging neckline. Netizens flooded the comments section. Take a look at the picture followed by screenshots of negative comments.
Malaika Arora has her own unique way of giving it back to the trollers. Sharing a sultry picture she had written, “Being happy is a choice and I choose to be happy. Also, I think happiness looks good on me, so keep your opinions and your negativity to yourself and spare me your crap. #notinterested #toobusybeinghappy #notimefornegativity #tuesdaythoughts #43nhappy.”
In an interaction with the Bombay Times, Malaika’s rumoured beau, Arjun Kapoor was asked to comment on the trolls targeting him and Malaika for their age gap.“I wouldn’t even want to speak about this and give it importance. It doesn’t matter to me, so I don’t want to justify anything.”
Speaking of not accepting his relationship with Malaika, Arjun had said, “I respect the fact that the media has been so respectful about our relationship. We are not hiding anything either. I am in a good personal and professional space. I hope it continues this way. I don’t want to go into the details right now. There has to be dignity in the way you conduct yourself in a relationship, and I want to maintain that. I would like to talk about it as time unfolds rather than jumping the gun. We have opened the doors to the world to know that we are together. When the time is right, I will go into details and speak about it.”
Reacting on the speculations of his marriage emerging every now and then on social media, Arjun had once said, “It’s people’s job to speculate and mine to clarify. Log shaadi ke baad takle hotey hain. Main shaadi ke dauran takla nahi hona chahta. (He’s shooting for a film, for which, he has shaved his head). I am not interested in getting married right now. I am 33 and marriage is not the be all and end all of a relationship. There’s more to discover and explore each other.”
When asked if he believes in the idea of marriage the actor had said, “Even though I come from a broken home, I believe in marriage. I see a lot of happily married couples around. I believe it is a good option to have. But that doesn’t mean you can jump the gun and go straight to it. Life has to lead you to it. You have to discover things, enjoy the relationship’s ups and downs, and then see where it takes you.”
