Campion College is an independent higher education learning institution in Western Sydney. It offers students an undergraduate liberal arts program focusing on understanding the ideas, events, personalities, and works that define Western culture.
Besides the institution’s academic programs, it also specialises in spiritual, social, and residential life as part of the fabric to enhance the higher education experience. Consequently, this unmatched educational experience helps prepare students for life after school and future careers.
According to recent statistics, the college’s Bachelor of Arts degree has emerged at the top of the country’s student satisfaction list. QILT’s 2018-2019 statistics show a 96.3% overall quality contentment rate toward the institution’s Liberal Arts degree program.
Compared to other universities, Campion topped the list of satisfaction ratings at 93%, far beyond 78% of the nation’s total average. According to Paul Morrissey, the institution’s president, the findings indicate that young Australians embrace the conventional perspective to education in Western Civilisation offered by Campion.
He acknowledged how the survey demonstrated that students enjoy learning Western traditions in a manner that encourages their zeal to learn.
“At such moments when there is a cry for reforms in our institution’s educational system, these results are solid proof of the liberal educational system offered by Campion.” Dr Morrissey said.
According to QILT student surveys, Campion has frequently ranked among top-tier institutions for its 3-year graduate degree over the previous academic years. This degree integrates other fields like literature, philosophy, and theology by incorporating a chronological Western Traditions history.
According to Dr Morrissey, the institution’s success can also be attributed to small-sized student classes. Students at Campion are able to interact directly with lecturers during learning hours. On the contrary, students who enrol in larger educational institutions often don’t get enough chances to voice their opinions and be heard in lecture rooms.
Furthermore, Campion students enjoy prominent in-person attention – an exposure to trainers that those attending other universities aren’t privy to. That’s why most students enrol for their educational programs at Campion.
According to the Quality Indicators for Learning and Training report, Campion is a role model to colleges where scholars evaluate their educational experience’s quality more than other higher-learning institutions.
As stated by the report, Campion can be regarded as a site of excellent practice in students’ overall experience. As such, other academic centres should emulate this. Regarding the Catholic tradition, Campion is the only college in Australia offering a Liberal Arts program.
Students can enrol for a Diploma certificate in the Foundations of Western History or higher certifications like a BA in Liberal Arts.
Campion also provides different scholarships to students, reflecting the institution’s commitment to making their Liberal Arts program more accessible to learners who struggle to pay their school fees.
Since Campion’s first graduation ceremony in 2008, graduates have had a smooth experience finding work in different sectors, including journalism, academics, teaching, law, politics, business, evangelism, and medicine.
