Cardi B Dispels Feud Rumors With Billie Eilish At Met Gala After Party

What would the Met Gala be without a little controversy, right? This year’s theme was Gilded Glamor at the Met Museum of Art, the fashion world’s greatest night. A-list celebrities attended the gala, including Kim Kardashian, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Gigi Hadid, among others.

The starlets wore elaborate dresses, gowns, and more, all made while keeping in mind the theme. Kim K’s Marylin Monroe gown was one of the night’s highlights, as it is believed to be the most expensive costume ever created. The most attention was brought to the hit by Blake Lively’s transformation and Ryan’s reaction to it.

Cardi B and Billie Eilish both make gorgeous entrances. Although rumors suggested that something went wrong at the after-party and that the two singers were feuding.

According to Entertainment Tonight, during Cardi’s address to kick off the large party and greet participants, out-of-context footage shows Billie mouthing the words “So odd,” which many interpreted as a sarcastic response from the singer towards Cardi B. Cardi B answered the iconic moment on Twitter, putting all the rumors to rest.

On Twitter, the actress-singer put an end to the rumors, writing, “I despise the internet because, for starters, how do you make one of the most raucous parties into a drama fest? Two, my daughter’s favorite song is Ocean Eyes. Billie is my f****n baby, number three. Everything went smoothly yesterday, from the meeting to the party. Why do you want to make a shambles of everything?”

Moreover, Cardi posted some voice messages Billie sent her after the incident. On one of her voice notes, Eilish said, “Oh my God, I was so worried you were going to see that. I was calling everyone around you weird. They were shoving their phones into your face.”

Cardi B responded by stating, “The internet tries to divide us. They don’t understand that you’re my baby.”

Cardi B ‘dripped’ in gold chains as she attended the Met Gala 2022. Despite wearing a blinding gold ensemble designed by Donatella Versace, the 29-year-old rapper arrived in a Versace car. She wore a body-skimming bodice dress that embraced her curves. In addition to gold chains sewn into the dress, the rapper wore a huge gold choker. Versace’s medusa pendant was also a part of the choker. In addition to the choker, Cardi B accessorized her look with chain gloves.

The singer wore a pale green and cream Gucci corset gown that had period drama meets goth punk vibes as she walked the Met steps. She even chose an environmentally friendly look, as the gown was fashioned from repurposed materials.

Through and through, a queen!
