CBFC Asked Rohit Shetty To Present Disclaimer Calling Singham Again To Be Fictional And Not Connect It To Gods

Rohit Shetty’s one of the dream projects from his cop universe, Singham Again will be released on the occasion of Diwali this year. Fans of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are eagerly waiting for this film. Let us tell you that this film is releasing along with Kartik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and will be competing with it. According to some of the media reports, it has now come to light that Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again has been certified by the censor board and Rohit Shetty has been asked to make some changes to the film and the film has been given a U/A certificate by the certification authority.

According to media reports, the CBFC has censored 7.12 minutes of footage in the film. Though the duration seems long, the cuts are scattered throughout the film and will be done accordingly. “At two places, the examining committee has requested the makers to delete a 23-second long ‘match cut’ scene of Lord Ram, Sita Mata, and Lord Hanuman that finds similarity with Ramayan. In this particular scene Singham, Avni, and Simba are shown together and the authority has asked the filmmaker to delete the scene.

It is being reported that the censor board has also asked director Rohit Shetty to delete a 16-second scene of Ravana grabbing, pulling, and pushing Maa Sita. They have also ordered that a 29-second scene of ‘dialogue of burning Hanuman and flirting with Simba’ should also be deleted. They also asked the team to delete 26 seconds of dialogue and scene as they felt it may have a bad impact on the international diplomatic relations of the neighboring state and India.
