“First and foremost, it is an honor to be selected for a role in a massive mythical production like ‘Ramayan.’ However, I had to decline, and I was unhappy about it. The persona presented to me was that of an apsara, which I did not wish to represent. I would have accepted the offer if it had been Sita’s prominent role.”

Chahatt also mentioned that she mainly receives offers for grey roles but declined an offer from Sony SAB as she is on the verge of signing for a show where she plays the protagonist. She expressed her interest in exploring the genre of a beautiful, mature love story and is currently writing a script for it.

Although there are rumors of an offer from Colors for a mature love story, Chahatt clarified that.

“I have not yet signed the project, but it is under consideration. I am currently writing and directing another short film.”
