Parvati of the small screen i.e. Sonarika Bhadauria will now tell the meaning of Hindutva to the audience through Karan Razdan’s film ‘Hindutva’. Sonarika Bhadauria is playing the character of NRI Sapna in the movie ‘Hindutva’. She says, ‘I didn’t know so much about Hindutva before this film that’s how bad the atmosphere is about the word Hindutva. I did not know that when a Hindu calls himself a Hindu, he is called Communal. But this film will make people understand the real meaning of Hindutva and its aspects. That is the duty of cinema. If cinema also shows us a right direction, then it can lead to a cult.

Sonarika Bhadauria is trolled a lot on social media for glamorous clothes. She says, ‘Where does our religion say that you have to always wear the same type of clothes. Our religion never pressurizes even for any worship. Our religion is very good, I was brought up in a slightly different environment as I studied in a convent school. But, in our house also, worship is done both times.’
Sonarika Bhadauria worked in the serial ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ 11 years ago. Her image of Parvati is still among the people. Sonarika Bhadauria says, ‘Even today that show keeps on repeat telecast. Some people still target me for my clothes. Why do these people forget that I am an actor. I was very fortunate to play the character of Parvati. But, you cannot take away my freedom from me. I worked in a show of Colors channel ‘Dastaan e Mohabbat Salim Anarkali’ in which I played the character of Anarkali who dances and performs Mujra, so will you always tell me that “Chal mujra kar ke dikha”.

Sonarika Bhadauria says, ‘Very few people know that even before ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’, I had worked in a Life OK show ‘Tum Dena Saath Dena Mera’. That’s when I understood that I do not want to do mother-in-law characters. Every artist has his own choice and accordingly he chooses his character. “I like larger than life characters. I love horse riding, fencing. I am fortunate that I got to play such a character in Sony TV’s show ‘Prithvi Vallabh’. After the film ‘Hindutva’, I will also have a web series, but this series has not been officially announced yet, so can’t talk much about it right now.
