The tumultuous relationship of television actor Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen, brother of Sushmita Sen, has once again captured public attention. She emphasised that there is no negativity between her and Rajeev and that their primary focus is on co-parenting Ziana in a healthy environment.

Charu also expressed a hint of frustration with the constant scrutiny, sarcastically asking if people wanted to provide her with a “list of things she can do.” She confirmed their recent travels, stating that they had a wonderful time together over the past two months, visiting Delhi, Bangkok, and Kolkata. Her statement aimed to normalise their amicable relationship, suggesting that their bond has evolved into a friendship centred around their child, a concept that the public seems to find difficult to accept without speculating on a romantic angle.
Rajeev Sen also weighed in on the rumours, echoing Charu’s sentiment. He stressed that their priority is their daughter, Ziana, and ensuring she receives the love and care of both her parents. His statements have consistently highlighted their commitment to co-parenting, suggesting that their joint appearances are a reflection of this shared responsibility rather than a romantic reconciliation.
The couple’s journey has been a rollercoaster for their followers. They married in a grand ceremony in Goa in 2019, but their marital bliss was short-lived.
